what would you like the photographer to capture.

Everything depends on your schedule. This is just a list from experience and an estimate of what I've captured before with those times.

When reading this take drive time (if 2 locations) and eating time into consideration.

2hrs - 3hrs:

If you only want photos of:

option 1: bride + groom "getting ready" shots, first look, ceremony, formal family photos, couples shots

option 2: first look, ceremony, formal family photos, couples shots, venue entrance, first dances.



( If venue and ceremony are in same place or two different locations )

4hrs-5hrs:

If you only want photos of:

option 1: bride "getting ready", first look, ceremony, formal family photos, couples shots, venue entrance, first dances, cake/decor shots, etc

option 2: first look, ceremony, formal family photos, couples shots, venue entrance, first dances, cake/decor shots, cutting cake shots etc.



( If venue and ceremony are in two different locations or same location )

6hrs-7hrs:

If you only want photos of:

option 1: Detail shots ( dress, shoes, invite etc), bride getting ready, Bride portrait, first look, ceremony, formal family photos, couples shots, Venue entrance , first dances, cake/decor shots, cake cutting, dance shots


option 2: first look, ceremony, formal family photos, couples shots, Venue entrance , first dances, cake/decor shots, cake cutting, dance shots, bouquet toss, mock exit.



( If venue and ceremony are in two different locations or same location)

8hrs:

If you only want photos of:

option 1: Detail shots ( dress, shoes, invite etc), bride getting ready, Brides portraits, Bride+Bridesmaid, first look, ceremony, formal family photos, couples shots, Venue entrance , first dances, cake/decor shots, cake cutting, dance shots, bouquet toss, fake exit and any other details missing during day


option 2: Bride portraits + family, Groom portraits+ family, first look, ceremony, formal family photos, couples shots, Venue entrance , first dances, cake/decor shots, cake cutting, (sunset couple photos if at sunset) , dance shots, bouquet toss, fake exit and any other details missing during day.

IF you would like getting ready portraits of the groom and his family, must pay additional to get a second shooter to take his photos while im taking brides photos. ( ONLY if they are getting ready in different locations or IF your time is limited. )

WEDDING TIMELINE EXAMPLE:

This is an 6hr wedding timeline:

They booked from 2-8pm

Two locations: Catholic Church + Reception at a ranch 35 mins from ceremony

Remember that every wedding is different and things won't always be perfect!
